POSITION SPECIFICS

The Director of Investigations plays a critical leadership role in advancing the University’s ethics and compliance program, with primary responsibility for complex investigations, hotline oversight, and institutional risk management. This role ensures adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and University policies while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct across the campus community.

Key Responsibilities

The position leads independent and high-profile investigations, oversees and modernizes the Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) Hotline and investigation process, and serves as a central coordination point among investigative and stakeholder units. Working closely with university leadership and key partners, the role provides strategic guidance, supervises investigative staff, and ensures timely, fair, and effective resolution of compliance concerns in alignment with institutional values and regulatory expectations.

This is a hybrid position that combines remote and on-campus working.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 8 years of relevant experience, includes 3 years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

SALARY & BENEFITS

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $97,100.00 - $145,700.00.
