Behavioral Health Technician – 1st Shift
Silvermist Recovery – Renfrew, PA
$17 – $18/hour (based on experience)
Full-Time | 1st Shift 730 am - 4 pm / Friday - Tuesday
Be Part of the Recovery Journey Silvermist Recovery, part of Pyramid Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our 1st Shift team in Renfrew, PA. As a BHT, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through residential treatment, helping them build stability, and ensuring a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the intake process for new clients entering the program Maintain accurate and timely client documentation
- Observe and record client self-administration of medications (as applicable)
- Provide client transportation and supervise during travel
- Coordinate and oversee daily client activities
- Support treatment goals by following individualized care plans
- Respond to client needs, including crisis intervention when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment
- Assist with meals and dietary needs of clients
- Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics
- Complete required trainings and perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Behavioral health or healthcare experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to respond effectively in crisis situations
- Knowledge of behavioral health standards and compliance guidelines preferred
