Administrative Assistant - Office of Mission Animation Salary:
$24.18 per hour Maintain communications with Spiritans on campus and abroad for the purposes
of Mission Animation events via email, zoom calls and in person meetings. Help as needed
at Mission Animation Events including but not limited to feast days, Heritage
Week, and Founders Week. This will
include staffing events during regular work hours. Helping with event
management throughout the year including the booking of rooms, ordering of
catering, and distribution of advertisements on campus. Completes other duties as assigned.

POSITION
SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to support the office of Mission
Animation through administrative tasks including but not limited to tracking
budgets, assisting on event coordination, communications with the university
and Spiritan community and support of large scale campus events out of the
office of Mission Animation including Heritage Week and Founders Week.
DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing the
department budget, preparing budget reports, and monitoring grant accounts
associated with the office. Also entails
submitting monthly expense reports in Chrome River and report of business
expenses. This person is also responsible for submitting SPA’s for student
employees.
Managing and
posting web content for the Mission Animation Office as well as social media
for the office.
REQUIREMENTS: Experience in managing or assistant at university
events including roles held as a student during undergraduate or graduate
years.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and 1-3 years of
work -related experience.
Preferred qualifications:
Alternatively, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination
of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities
required to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is not
limited to, the following:
Knowledge of budget planning and
reporting.
Knowledge of the larger Spiritan
community around the world and how they relate to campus.
Ability to create and maintain effective
working relationships with staff and administrators across divisions.
Ability to be adaptable and flexible
with the nature of changing campus events.
Ability and willingness to work evening
and weekends as needed and required.
Knowledge of the Catholic faith and its
traditions.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the
University Community.
