Creates and maintains blueprints and architectural drawings with computer design software. Executes
accurate field surveys. Maintains the space tracking database. Assists in creating presentation materials
and graphic design applications using online software.
- Uses data, notes, and specifications to create blueprints, architectural drawings, and/or other
designs using computer-aided design (CAD) or BIM software; converts sketches and drawings
from paper to AutoCAD.
- Performs accurate and detailed field surveys on a variety of buildings and/or sites.
- Prints and plots creations following established procedures.
- Maintains space tracking database.
- Analyzes, generates reports and develops visualizations on space-related information.
- Assists in the creation of presentation materials and design drafts; develops graphics using a
variety of online software programs.
- Maintains working knowledge and/or develops understanding of latest CAD software.
An Associates Degree is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred. The position may require additional hours up to 37.5 hours per week when necessary.
