Summary

Responsible for performing cardiac diagnostic testing in both inpatient and outpatient departments.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Meets at least one of the following:
    1. Graduate of a medical assistant, EMT, or other clinical healthcare program.
    2. Certification in ECG/EKG.
    3. One year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting providing direct patient care.
  2. Successful completion of an in-house Dysrhythmia training and competency within one year of hire
  3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Six months of Holter monitor scanning, with specialized training in rhythm analysis.
  2. Six months of stress test experience.
  3. Six months of experience with memory loop event recording.
  4. Six months of experience performing electroencephalogram (EEG) testing.
