About the Program

This is a 10-week, full-time compensated internship offered by one of the nations leading healthcare providers, regularly recognized by U.S. News & World Report on its Honor Roll of Americas Best Hospitals. This program is highly competitive and tailored for students who are passionate about pursuing a career in finance.

Participants are exposed to various finance related functions within the Corporate Services division such as:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Accounting
  • Financial Reporting
  • Revenue Cycle Management
  • Transaction Support

Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience, network with UPMC executives, and engage in mentorship activities. Youll also contribute to projects that impact patient care and exemplify how the UPMC Finance team supports Life Changing Medicineand, of course, enjoy some fun along the way!
