Core Job Functions:
1. Handle incoming calls and new client calls for evaluation in the areas of Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, Medical Malpractice, Social Security, etc.
2. Complete new client intakes and screen potential clients; gather complete missing or unknown information and forward all calls to the appropriate attorney (phone or email).
3. Track and respond to callers professionally, focused on customer service, as well as obtaining all data needed for accurate completion of Call Sheets.
4. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and provide outstanding customer service.
5. Collaborate with the team and support others in the department to complete daily tasks.
6. Complete assigned work in a timely manner to build positive relationships.
- The standard shift is Monday - Friday, however, Intake Specialist must be available to work weekends as needed based on business demands.
- Intake Specialist will be given reasonable notice of required weekend shifts.
- Ability to work in the Pittsburgh office at least once per month is required.
- Empathy and compassion with the ability to listen while asking important questions, following instructions, and paying attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills are necessary.
- Confidence and professionalism through all forms of internal and external communication.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office applications and other database entry software.
