We are seeking a dedicated professional to efficiently manage customer orders using the SAP system, ensuring timely and problem-free product delivery. This role involves maintaining customer data, coordinating shipping, reviewing pricing requests, and resolving customer issues. The position is based in Pittsburgh, PA, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse culture, and thriving industries.
- Process customer orders in the SAP system to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain customer messages and contact information in Customer Master Data records.
- Coordinate shipping and delivery between customers and plants.
- Review special pricing requests for consistency and proper approvals.
- Investigate and resolve customer deductions to prevent future issues.
- Report inventory shortages to the Regional Supply Chain Manager and Inventory Planner.
- Register customer complaints and provide corrective actions.
- Develop strong working relationships with external customers.
- BS degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain with 5 years of related experience preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) in a manufacturing environment.
- Functional knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is desirable.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, persuasion, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- International logistics operations experience and knowledge of export compliance regulations are a plus.
This position is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, 5 days a week, daylight position (1st shift).
