Job Description
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Support project managers in tracking budgets and ensuring cost control measures are implemented.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project schedules and milestones are met.
  • Review and manage project documentation, including contracts, submittals, and change orders.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
  • Assist in resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve project efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • 2-5 years construction experience on projects up to $10M
  • College degree in related field
  • Procore experience required-overall tech knowledge is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience working within the property industry or a related field.
  • Proficiency in construction software and project management tools.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
