As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, support daily operations through teamwork, and always act with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.18 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized movement of personnel, drivers, and deliveries within the location.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and warehouse activity for security-related concerns, assist with directional support and traffic flow, and communicate notable issues involving trailers, packages, and/or restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
