Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead
Southwestern New Jersey | Food Manufacturing | Frozen Bakery Environment
GPAC has partnered with a growing frozen bakery manufacturing facility in Southwestern New Jersey that is looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead to their team. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity within an SQF/BRC-audited food manufacturing environment supporting critical production and facility systems.
This individual will play a key role in driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting the overall maintenance strategy across the plant.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems
- Support high-speed packaging and automated production equipment
- Drive root cause analysis and reduce equipment downtime
- Supervise maintenance technicians and outside contractors
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and capital projects
- Maintain food safety and sanitation compliance standards
- Assist with CMMS tracking and maintenance documentation
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Food manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Strong troubleshooting ability with automation and PLC systems
- Experience in refrigeration or frozen manufacturing environments highly preferred
- Leadership or team lead experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Background
- Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC exposure
- High-speed packaging experience
- Ammonia refrigeration knowledge
- Food manufacturing compliance knowledge (SQF/BRC/GMP)
Compensation
$75,000&-$115,000 DOE
