Plant Supervisor &- Food Manufacturing

We are seeking a Plant Supervisor to oversee daily production operations within a high-volume frozen bakery manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and consistent production across multiple high-speed manufacturing lines producing laminated dough and frozen baked goods.
The Plant Supervisor will play a key role in driving production performance, maintaining strict food safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Supervise daily production activities across multiple lines, including mixing, laminating, proofing, freezing, and packaging

Drive key production KPIs including yield, throughput, waste reduction, and labor efficiency

Ensure compliance with SQF/BRC food safety standards, GMPs, HACCP protocols, and all regulatory requirements

Lead, coach, and develop shift supervisors, operators, and production team members

Monitor product quality, dough consistency, and finished goods specifications

Partner with maintenance and sanitation teams to minimize downtime and support equipment reliability

Analyze production data including scrap, downtime, and efficiency metrics to identify improvement opportunities

Enforce all safety procedures and ensure OSHA compliance across the facility

Coordinate shift scheduling and staffing needs to meet production demand

3&-7 years of experience in food manufacturing (bakery or frozen food production strongly preferred)

Experience in high-speed, high-volume production environments

Strong leadership and team development skills

Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems for production reporting

Knowledge of GMP, SQF, or BRC food safety standards preferred

SQF Practitioner Certification

HACCP Certification

OSHA 30 Certification

Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)

PCQI Certification
$65,000 &- $95,000 annually (based on experience)
