As a Security Officer Day Patrol Guard in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, observe visitor and staff movement, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
• Document incidents, complete required reports, and relay important information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
