Free People is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern for our Intimates team. Each summer URBN Inc. welcomes candidates from across the country to immerse themselves within various teams across our portfolio of brands and gain hands-on learning experience in the area of business which they choose to pursue. For 10 weeks, interns will share in the unique culture & perks found at our Home Office in the historic Philadelphia Navy Yard, while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment. DESIGN: You are innovative, inventive, artistic & detail oriented, but most importantly you love Free People Our Free People design intern intimates will utilize hand & digital sketching skills & the ability to communicate design ideas via CAD and AI to assist in the development of product as well as bring these ideas to life thru use of mocking, sewing and draping actual garments to present in key design meetings. See for yourself what our past & present interns are up to @urbncareers! The URBN 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/1 through 8/7 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA. Summer Internship Program Application Process: 1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills. If there is a project component required for the design internship position you are applying for, you will be notified directly by 11/8. If requested to complete a project, it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position. 2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received. 3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis. Applications will close at 5:00 pm EST on November 3rd, 2025. Role Responsibilities Support the existing design team throughout the creative process cycle (including sketching, mocking, fittings, etc.)Sketch new styles and update existing ones using Procreate, Adobe programs, and AI tools such as Mid. Journey. Mock, sew, and drape new ideas in preparation for key design meetings and presentations. Assist in creating design packages once styles are ready to be sent to vendors. Help develop artwork and color packages for weekly design deliverables. Assist in preparing final digital design presentations for upcoming meetings using the team's shared PowerPoint documents. Help organize and propose new tools to support the design team in meeting upcoming deadlines (e.g., fabric information, swatching, organizing samples, etc.)Attend fittings for your category, take notes and photos during meetings, and assist in sending comments to vendors. Participate in relevant trend research related to the current delivery the design team is working on. Support upcoming design meetings by pulling new ideas and styling details that align with the Free People customer Role Qualifications Passionate about Intimates and the Free People Brand! Strong sense of organizational skills and proactiveness, great communication skills and ability to multitask. Mocking/ Sewing skills. Excellent hand and computer sketching/ CAD skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Procreate. Ai knowledge/experience would be a plus! Proficient in Microsoft platforms (Excel, Powerpoint & Word)
