This career opportunity is available for a self-motivated person with strong work ethics.Primary Duties:Perform repair and maintenance on reefer units in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.Perform repairs and diagnostics on starting and charging system, cooling and re-charge, and electrical including common fault codes. Repairs include performing leak detection procedures, compressor replacements, soldering refrigerant lines, evaporator/condenser replacements in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications.Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.Conform to all safety and health standardsComply with state vehicle and DOT vehicle requirementsEnsure that refrigeration systems are operating in compliance with safety and environmental regulationsRequirements:1-2 years of Transport Refrigeration Technical, or equivalent, experienceValid driver’s license with a safe driving recordMust be willing to work overtimeMust have own toolsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAttention to detail and highly organized Minimum Requirements Physical Requirements Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
