The Lincoln Intermediate Unit is seeking motivated individuals for seasonal summer employment to support facility operations. Duties include moving classroom furniture and supplies between buildings or storage, assembling furniture, general cleaning, landscaping, and assisting facilities staff with the upkeep and care of grounds, equipment and warehouse operations. Work will occur both indoors and outdoors, in varying weather conditions. Other Responsibilities include: - Clean and maintain facilities and grounds - Operate equipment such as vans/trucks, tractors, mowers, and standard cleaning tools/equipment - Perform minor maintenance tasks as needed - Move furniture, boxes, and classroom materials between schools and storage - Assembling furniture - Setting up meeting spaces. Qualifications: - Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical demands (stairs, loading/unloading trucks, etc.) - Working knowledge of cleaning, landscaping, and general maintenance equipment - Clean PA driver\s license and driving record required - Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliable attendance - Must obtain clearances and physical/ TB test at employee\s cost if selected. Terms of Employment: Temporary, part-time position from mid-May through August and potentially school breaks. This position does not include benefits and is on an as-needed basis. Hours: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (flexible)Salary: $14/hour.
