Mix and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests staying and visiting Nemacolin while providing a pleasant and social atmosphere for all patrons. Promotes responsible drinking practices by effectively influencing patron's drinking behavior within the "Dram Shop" law guidelines. Rotates between distinctly different work environments throughout the resort while performing both "front" and "service" bartending functions. Additionally, when assigned to support special banquet functions, sets up portable bars and dispenses drinks accordingly.

Duties:

  • Mixing ingredients liquors, sodas, water, and juices to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bar areas.
  • Use of NCR cashiering, collecting money and coordinating paperwork.
  • Engaging in conversation with guests. Ordering necessary supplies.
  • Preparing fruits and garnishes for drinks. Be sure that all guests served are 21 years of age. Knowledge of products and preparation of them
  • Maintaining cash bank and making cash drop Ordering supplied needed for next day Have lighter and cigar cutter while working
  • Keep area clean and organized at all times making sure that guest and associates remain safe Pass on necessary information to manager/associates for next shift Put all supplies away #INDNWLR

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must be friendly and outgoing.
  • Needs to possess excellent communicative skills.
  • Must be able to work variable hours, including holidays, nights and weekends.
  • Must be willing to perform other reasonable requests of management.
  • Must have successfully completed or be willing to complete a mandatory Intervention Procedural Training Program in the handling of intoxicated guests.
  • Computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of mixing and preparing a variety of drinks.
  • Must be able to speak English.
