Job Description

A progressive agricultural retailer is seeking an Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee dispatching, fertilizer operations, inventory coordination, equipment scheduling, and facility operations.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency during both seasonal peaks and day-to-day agronomy activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily agronomy operations and logistics
  • Coordinate dispatching and application schedules
  • Manage fertilizer and chemical inventory
  • Supervise applicators, drivers, and operational staff
  • Ensure operational safety and compliance
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
  • Work closely with agronomy sales and leadership teams

Qualifications

  • Ag retail or agronomy operations experience preferred
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of fertilizer and chemical operations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Current CDL or applicator license is a plus but not required
