A progressive agricultural retailer is seeking an Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee dispatching, fertilizer operations, inventory coordination, equipment scheduling, and facility operations.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency during both seasonal peaks and day-to-day agronomy activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily agronomy operations and logistics
- Coordinate dispatching and application schedules
- Manage fertilizer and chemical inventory
- Supervise applicators, drivers, and operational staff
- Ensure operational safety and compliance
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility upkeep
- Work closely with agronomy sales and leadership teams
Qualifications
- Ag retail or agronomy operations experience preferred
- Leadership experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of fertilizer and chemical operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Current CDL or applicator license is a plus but not required
