Shipping Team Member - Summer Hire

We are looking for individuals to join our Shipping team in Carlisle, PA for the duration of the Summer (May - August).
The primary function of this position is to safely, effectively, and productively execute their inbound, outbound, inventory, safety, 5S and housekeeping assignment. We will train dependable individuals with a desire to work as a part of a team in a successful and growing manufacturing company.
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Overtime may be required
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, clean, and organized work areas
- Inspect all material handling equipment prior to use and submit appropriately completed inspection card.
- Operate all machines, equipment, tools, and devices safely and per standard work instructions, rules and regulations
- Complete 5S assignment per expectation
- Scan materials using bar code reader prior to picking and/or loading
- Pick customer orders per standard work instructions
- Load customer orders per standard work instructions
- Unload inbound shipments
- Stock received items
- Pack or repack materials as required
