Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Laser Operator:
- Inserting and aligning proper tooling on machinery.
- Positioning and securing workpieces.
- Setting, adjusting, and monitoring machinery dimensions.
- Handling, measuring, and cutting sheet metal based on oral and written instructions and blueprints.
Qualifications of a Laser Operator:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and instructions.
- Basic mathematic and measurement skills.
- Ability to follow diagrams and/or written and oral instructions.
- Great longevity and attendance record.
- Attention to detail.
